About ICEEICT



The International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information & Communication Technology (ICEEICT) has been a featuring biannual event of the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, scholars to exchange and share their experiences, research results about all aspects of Electrical Engineering, ICT and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. The conference features a comprehensive technical program offering numerous technical sessions with papers showcasing the latest technologies, applications and services. In addition, the conference program includes workshops, tutorials, keynote talks from renowned academics, panel discussions, poster presentations, and a large exhibition.

The best paper, poster, and presentation awards are announced during the conference based on the recommendations of reviewers and the program committee. Accepted and presented papers are published in the conference proceedings and submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

Thanks to the Founding ICEEICT Conference Chair Professor Dr Satya Prasad Majumder, the first edition of this conference series was organized in 2014 at MIST. Being jointly organized with the Institute of Information Technology (IIT), Jahangirnagar University, the conference was an annual MIST event up to 2016. From the 4th edition in 2018, the conference was planned to be organized biannually by the Dept. of EECE. However, due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19, the scheduled event for 2020 was postponed and later arranged in 2021 in hybrid mode. In 2024, the conference is being organized by the Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering (EECE) Department of MIST, Mirpur, Dhaka.
